Reset iPod

The first step to try is to make sure your iPod is fully charged, and the battery isn’t dead or need replacing.
The next step is to retry your ipod, in other words, try moving the on/off switch back and forth a few times. Also, try a different USB port on your computer.
The third step is to restart your computer and make sure that all of your software is up to date before you reset your iPod.
The fourth step is to reinstall iTunes and then plug in your ipod and make sure that all of your software is up to date.
The final step is to reset your iPod. When you reset an iPod, it will erase all of your songs and files, be sure to have backups!
